If your computer is facing problems with any form of hardware failure, you can remove the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD from the old laptop and install it in a new one to access your data. If the physical security feature is enabled on the SSD, kindly refer to the quick-start guide to unlock the SSD before you can access your data. It's important to note that in order to unlock a locked X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD, you will need to have the password and authenticator ready. Following that you will need to open the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD Connect mobile app to complete the unlocking process. Without this key or password, you will not be able to unlock the SSD and access your data.

(Important Note: you may have to unlock the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD first if the physical security feature is enabled. To unlock, you may refer to the X-PHY® Guard PC Application Guide)
