In the event where the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD is locked due to an attack and the internet connected has been disabled, how does the user receive the email OTP to unlock the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD?

In the scenario where the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD is locked, PC did not bootup, and the network is

disabled, there are two methods to unlock the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD:

(1) User can connect the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD as a secondary drive to a PC and unlock it using the X-PHY® Guard PC Application. No internet is required.

(2) User can also unlock the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD using the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD connect mobile application. It doesn’t require booting up of the Windows or the internet to unlock the device. It just requires the powering up of the SSD’s BLE. In order to successfully unlock the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD, the registered password and Authenticator OTP is required. No internet or email OTP is required.
