What are the factors to determine a physical attack?

Modified on Thu, 27 Jun at 10:41 AM

The X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD is designed to detect physical tampering or removal, and subsequently lock the drive to prevent unauthorized access to the data stored on it. The hardware sensor onboard the SSD is likely designed to detect factors such as vibration, temperature changes, and physical movement that could indicate an attempt to tamper with or remove the SSD.

To determine a physical attack on the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD, the physical protection feature must be enabled in the X-PHY® Guard PC Application. This suggests that there may be other factors involved in determining a physical attack, such as whether the SSD is connected to a computer running the X-PHY® Guard PC Application, and whether the user has enabled the physical protection feature in the application.
