How is X-PHY®‘s AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD “less than 1% false positive” being calculated?

Modified on Wed, 26 Jun at 1:16 PM

X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD have run multiple tests (e.g. development tests, laboratory tests and field tests) to obtain the false positive rate The false positive rate is calculated by calculating the number of legitimate files detected by X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure as malicious to the total number of files scanned.

How the value of 1% false positive rate was calculated for us wasthat out of 1000 files scanned, less than 10 files would be wrongly detected as malicious by the X-PHY® AI Embedded Cyber Secure SSD. The calculation is based on a statistical analysis of the tests performed in different environments and scenarios.
